Industrial clerk

Industrial clerks manage operational processes, applying aspects of business administration, and are assigned various tasks involving specific commercial activities.

  • Length of training – the training takes three years.

  • Learning venue – the training takes place in the vocational school and in the company.

  • Prerequisites – good secondary modern school or higher leaving certificate, practical disposition and commercial understanding

After completing vocational training, industrial clerks can find positions in a wide array of industrial sectors, e.g. in the areas of marketing and sales, procurement and provisioning, production and billing, as well as human resources.

Technical Product Designer

Within the scope of the training, it is possible to select among two areas of specialty: Product design and construction are plant and machinery construction. Product design and construction involves guiding the development of a product from its conception all the way to production. In plant and machinery construction, the focus is on the preparation of 3D models for the components of plants, machinery and vehicles.

  • Length of training – the training takes 3 1/2 years.

  • Learning venue – • the training takes place in the vocational school and in the company.

  • Prerequisites – good spatial perception skills, technical understanding, good grades in math and physics

Sign and Illuminated Advertising Producer

The sign and illuminated advertising producer advises companies in the design of their advertising. This demands not only ability in craftsmanship but also design talent.

  • Length of training – • the training takes 3 years.

  • Learning venue – the training takes place in the vocational school and in the company.

  • Prerequisites – design talent, skill in craftsmanship, good grades in German, art and mathematics

Specialist for Warehouse Logistics / Warehouse Clerk

Warehouse clerks receive goods, inspecting and recording them via IT systems, sorting and storing them properly or forwarding them to their destination in the company. Specialists for warehouse logistics are more involved in operations planning and organization. In addition to computer skills, a good overall view and planning capability play an important role. Among other things, specialists for warehouse logistics streamline the flow of information and materials within the company – from procurement to sales.

  • Length of training – the training of warehouse clerks takes 2 years, and the training of specialists for warehouse logistics takes 3 years.

  • Learning venue – • the training takes place in the vocational school and in the company.

  • Prerequisites – organizational capabilities and diligence, spatial perception skills, good grades in math

Dual-track studies: Business Administration / Industrial Sales Representative

The dual-track Bachelor course of studies in Business Administration is a hands-on program, leading to the internationally accredited academic degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). Graduates of this course of studies can be found in almost all business sectors. The ProLicht Group offers the dual-track Business Administration course of studies in cooperation with the Leibnitz University of Applied Sciences.

  • Length of studies – 6 semesters (3 years), finishing with a bachelor’s thesis.

  • Theoretical curriculum

    • Basic coursework (e.g. communication, business English)
    • Business administration (e.g. marketing, accounting and human resources)
    • Economics (e.g. finance, business policy)
    • Law (e.g. Basic Law, Labor and Social Law)
    • Practical reviews as preparation and follow-up of the practical phases in the company

    • Good to excellent general or subject-specific university entrance qualification

Owing to the international orientation of the ProLicht Group, there is the opportunity to integrate an assignment abroad at one of our European locations into the study program. In the practical phases, we also offer interesting projects in the divisional company divisions, allowing students to increasingly work independently.
